Installation is as Easy as 1-2-3

  

With the ReadyMount Replacement Door System, the unit arrives totally preassembled and fully crated for protection during shipping. Just open the crate and with just a few easy steps the unit can be installed. It's that simple. No more labor hours spent tearing out the old frame, repairing damaged walls, and laying out those tedious, hard-to-read templates for locks and closers. Leave the hardware installation to our experts. What could take up to 8 hours per opening, now takes less than 1 hour.

Installation

Step 1: Prepare the Opening

  • Remove the old door from the frame.
  • Remove all hardware and other items from frame.
  • Locate and mark the centerlines of the header of the existing frame and head of the replacement frame.

Step 2: Install the ReadyMount Unit

  • Slide the preassembled unit into the existing frame and match the marked centerlines.
  • Check the unit for proper alignment in the frame.
  • Secure the unit to the existing frame with the fasteners provided.

Step 3: Complete the Final Installation

  • Cut & remove pre-hanging bands after the unit is completely attached.
  • Drill and insert the threshold screws provided.
  • Attach the door closer arm & bracket to the existing frame.
